  • Dr Brian Jull, PhD

    Veterinarian

Dr. Brian A. Jull’s educational background and professional career has encompassed many facets of veterinary medicine. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Jull attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his D.V.M. degree in 1993. He subsequently returned to Kentucky where he practiced large and small animal medicine. Although Dr. Jull enjoyed many aspects of rural general practice, his desire to contribute to medical research led him back into academia at the University of Tennessee in 1996. There he completed his residency in Pathology and obtained a PhD in molecular oncology (cancer research). Nevertheless, his passion for clinical veterinary medicine and daily interaction with patients and their owners led him back into small animal practice. His professional interests include internal medicine, with specific interests in gastroenterology (digestive disorders) and surgical oncology (surviving cancer).

Dr. Jull enjoys spending time away from veterinary medicine to read, travel, visit with daughters, Abby and Ellie and compete in cycling events.
